Kate Anderson

Kate Anderson’s journey to Bowen therapy is similar to many who find their way to this modality. Suffering from back problems from a young age, Kate was looking for something to heal and repair her issues at their source rather than just a “bandaid” solution. Bowen therapy turned out to be just what she was looking for! After trying different modalities, it became clear that Bowen therapy was key to her recovery, not just by healing her injury but by unlocking her body as a whole.

After a career burnout, Kate wanted more fulfilling work and enrolled in the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy. It was life-changing and she hasn’t looked back. Following the opening of her clinic on the Sunshine Coast, Kate continued on to complete her Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy, SP2 Master Class and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She also became an assessor in Anatomy and Physiology for Bowen Training Australia.

“My philosophy has always been that if I learn something of importance, then I have an obligation to share. This moved me in the direction of teaching in the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT. This gift of the Bowen Technique needs to continue to grow, be given, shared and taught to as many people as possible. For anyone wanting to learn, let the life changing journey begin!”

Kate developed a new CEU workshop in 2023, “Bowenhacking the Lymph, Glymph, Immune and ANS” for Bowen practitioners. Learn more here.

Her personal goal is to be a student of the Bowen method for life, to continue to grow and learn, to pass on the healing benefits and to excel in this technique showing gratitude to the founder, Tom Bowen, and her personal mentor, Desley Faulks.

Please note: Kate will finish teaching in 2024. Please see here for trainers near you.
