Joanne Ulrich began helping people in the Perth hills area using sports massage. With a history in massage, sports therapy, homoeopathy and a wide variety of complementary therapies and techniques, Joanne was led to Bowen by a mentor who said, “If you really want to help people, learn Bowen.” She listened and learnt!
Attending her first Bowen workshop in 1997, Joanne is still awed, surprised and excited by Bowen on a daily basis, using no other bodywork technique since her first introduction, as nothing compares to the healing potential of Bowen on all creatures great and small.
Joanne’s dream of setting up a dedicated Bowen clinic was achieved in 2014 when The Perth Bowen Clinic and South West Bowen Clinic was opened, offering quality Bowen care for clients and training for students. Her primary focus is pain and injury management.
Joanne is committed to practising and teaching the Bowen technique in its original form. She offers a supportive and encouraging learning environment for all students. Weekend modules and distance learning are available.
In 2019, Joanne relocated from Perth southwest Victoria. She looks forward to welcoming you to class!
