Are there different timetable options for practical learning in Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT
The practical component begins at Module 1, however some instructors offer combined Modules.
  1. Single Modules: You begin at Module 1 and there is approximately 4 weeks between each practical Module. The final practical Module is Module 7. Each Module is normally a 2 day class.
  2. Combined Modules: Module 1 and 2 is held over a 4 day period. There is approximately 8 weeks between combined modules and each combined Module is held over a 4 day period. Module 7 is held as a standalone module over 2 days.
Most trainers offer modules on weekends. Some offer evening classes on weekdays. Get in touch with your local trainer here to explore timetable options.
Do you offer payment plans?
Our courses are Pay-As-You-Go, meaning you only pay for the module(s) you enrol into. This spreads your total course cost over 12-18 months for the Cert IV and 12-24 months for the Diploma. The Australian Government provides up to $2,000 (incl. GST) to co-fund training to help mature-age Australians to update their skills and remain in the workforce longer, via the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program. You may be eligible if you are:
  • Aged 40 years and over
  • An Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Currently employed and at risk of entering the income support system, OR recently unemployed (within twelve months) and not registered with an Australian Government employment services provider such as jobactive or Disability Employment Services.
  • have completed a Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers (Program) assessment that identified training opportunities that were included in the Career Plan.

Can I learn Bowen Therapy online?
No, we don't offer online learning for the practical modules. Here's why. Distance learning is available for the theory units.
Can I study the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 10847NAT first?
You must complete the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT before you can go on to study the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 10847NAT.
Do I enrol in the distance learning units or practical modules first?
The units, Preparation Theory (comprising Infection Control and Workplace Health and Safety), are due to be completed via distance learning before Module 1. You can register at any time for Module 1, but keep in mind these units need completing before you attend your first class with us.
When do your courses run?
Our courses run continuously in many locations around Australia throughout the year. You are able to begin your study at any time by commencing the distance learning unit, Preparation Theory, which must be completed before Module 1. Keep in mind you need to complete the Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT within 12-18 months and the Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 10847NAT within 12-24 months.
Do you offer full time study?
The Certificate IV in Bowen Therapy 10846NAT and Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 10847NAT are offered part-time to optimise your learning and fit in with your lifestyle. The Certificate IV must be completed in a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 18 months. The Diploma must be completed in a minimum of 12 months and a maximum of 24 months.
