Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers

UPDATE: Skills Checkpoint is scheduled to end on 30 June 2024. New applications have now closed.

Funding available! Do you want to make your career as a Bowen Therapist a reality?

Already qualified, keen to up-skill, and remain in the workforce?

Either way, we can help make that happen through the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers Program.

The Australian Government provides up to $2,000 (excl. GST) to co-fund training to help mature-age Australians update their skills and remain in the workforce longer.

That equals more than 30% of the total cost of the Cert IV or Diploma

You may be eligible for the Skills Checkpoint for Older Workers program if you are:

  • Aged 40 years and over
  • An Australian citizen or permanent resident
  • Currently employed and at risk of entering the income support system, OR
  • recently unemployed (within twelve months) and not registered with an Australian Government employment services provider such as jobactive or Disability Employment Services.

It only takes 10 minutes to apply. Click here.

What our students are saying:

“I probably wouldn’t have done the course without your financial support and I really appreciate the opportunity to learn some new skills so I can embark on a new career next year.”

-Christine Knight (2023)

“Overall, I am very happy with the whole program, it has been wonderful and extremely financially helpful.”

–Heather Walker (2023)
