The importance of assessment

In this video, Bulgarian Physiotherapist and Senior Bowtech Instructor, Georgi Ilchev, demonstrates the importance of assessment, and how much time we can save in treatment when proper assessments are done.

Often the site of our pain is not its source. Watch below to see how proper assessments determine that this client’s shoulder pain is not due to a shoulder problem.

Georgi returns to Australia in November-December 2023 to teach his popular workshop, Bowen Body Decoding.

Bowen Body Decoding offers valuable information and skills in the importance of assessment – how to determine the primary cause or dysfunction as well as solutions for treatment. As we know, every body is different, which means every treatment must be unique also. The workshop will teach you what moves and procedures to perform, but more importantly, how to perform them.

      Hi Janice,
Thanks for your comment. The workshop includes references to the kind of tests that physiotherapists or osteopaths may perform, and these are taught in our Diploma of Specialised Bowen Therapy 10847NAT, which is why it’s been set as a pre-requisite for this workshop. It’s not really suitable for Cert IV practitioners. If you would like, we can place you on a waiting list and let you know if a place is available at the start of September. Please let us know if you would like to take this option. Please be aware that you may find the course content challenging.
